The Florence Crittenton Agency announced today FCA’s Honorary Spokesperson for 2008 – 2010. UT Women’s Athletics Director Jonan Cronan will be working hard to bring greater visibility to the Florence Crittenton Agency.
FCA Pilots New Co-ed Program
"As our mission shifted to encompass the families of the young women we serve, we were already dealing with the men in their lives. It was a natural progression to offer residential services to young men in this new program" said Vice President of Clinical Services Diane Bremseth as she explained what Youth Summit of Recovery is and how it will be operating in our community.

The Florence Crittenton Agency, first chartered in 1896, is a 55-bed comprehensive treatment facility for troubled young women in crisis or at risk.
The Crittenton Program provides residential care and counseling for pregnant and non-pregnant teens. Outreach services are also provided for teens with behavioral and emotional difficulties and families in crisis. Foster care services provide caring homes for teens in our care.
We also provide care for substance abuse counseling, to help young women live independently and productively.
Outreach programs operated by the Agency include a teen pregnancy prevention program (STARS), and child and parenting skills training (CAPS).
Services to young people at risk or in crisis:
prevention and treatment programs,
education,
housing,
living skills,
and encouragement in a nurturing environment.
